Where wishes (can) come true
They are the "lucky charms" for impatient golfers who have had enough of the winter blues and are longing for spring with its mild temperatures. Various golf fairs are already providing the much-anticipated golf feeling - with interesting offers for travel, equipment and club memberships. First and foremost the www.messe-stuttgart.de"_blank"">CMTin Stuttgart, which celebrated its 50th anniversary this January. You can find some impressions here:
Golf galore over four days
Around 260 companies presented their innovations and offers for the 2018 golf and vacation year for the first time this year in the Paul Horn Hall, where the "Golf & WellnessReisen" took place. Among them, of course, Bella Italia with www.italiagolfmore.com"_blank"">"Golf& More", the www.visittrentino.info"_blank"">partnercountry Trentino with Gardagolf, Lake Chiemsee with the Chiemsee Card, the Bavarian Golf - and Thermenland, North German golf paradises and the www.bwgv.de"_blank"">Baden-WürttembergGolf Association, which presented itself in the middle of Hall 10 with some of its best 90 golf resorts. Chapeau! I can only say that the ladies and gentlemen were unbeatable in terms of friendliness and personal advice. Also www.golfinfo.at"_blank"">Golfin Austria with the best hotels on the golf course in all federal states and with a huge food and drink lounge once again enjoyed the euphoric trade fair audience. Plus, as always, the "good news" from the well-stocked magazine.
Golf and wine, that's a must!
A popular saying, but one that always underlines the perfect symbiosis and was also celebrated here at several stands - above all at www.heitlinger-golf-resort.de"_blank"">"Heitlinger"/a>, a modern golf resort with a hotel, 18-hole golf course, Ravensburg Castle and its own vineyards all around. An enjoyable short break in one of the most beautiful places in the Rhine-Neckar region is guaranteed here. And for those who, despite this wide range of offers, would still prefer to travel further afield, Tunisia, Turkey, Spain and Portugal as well as Ireland and Scotland were, as always, on hand. There were also international and worldwide offers in the three other tourist halls.
Conclusion: "Both trade fairs attracted many interested and well-informed visitors over the four days of CMT," said Otto Leibfritz, President of the Baden-Württemberg Golf Association, and "Golf & Wellness Travel was fantastic for us! We have never had a better presentation". In addition, the golf industry's top equipment suppliers with the latest equipment and golf fashion for the coming season turned the trade fair visit into a lucrative shopping event. Extensive testing was carried out in the event area on the full-size driving range, the putting green and the golf simulator. There were also free expert tips and exciting demonstrations by some golf professionals.
But don't worry, if you missed this fair now, you still have several more opportunities: Hanse Golf Hamburg from 16 - 18.2, Golftage München from 23.2 - 25.2 and Rheingolf in Düsseldorf from 02.03 - 04.03.
After that you can start the new golf season smoothly and well equipped. Enjoy your game!
