With the new "Golf-Connoisseur Reisen" blogs, we not only want to introduce you to special golf travel destinations, report on highlights from the golf scene and poke fun at many an event, but also report on extraordinary celebrations that are worthy of being publicized - such as the 25th anniversary celebrations of "Golf in Austria".
This "association of specialists for golf vacations in Austria" has been around since 1988 and for me they are the real pioneers of golf in Austria. As ambassadors for high-quality golf vacations in the Alpine republic, I meet them again and again at all the major trade fairs and my Styrian heart beats a little faster when I see the authentically Austrian decorated stands, the great traditional costumes and the friendly smiling faces. This is just one of the achievements of the young and dynamic President Nicole Ruisz, who is always coming up with new ideas to fill her "Golf in Austria" catalog, which has now grown to 250 pages. 140 member establishments at hotels and golf clubs present their offers here, framed by great photos and clearly arranged by province.
