Award ceremony after Thermengolf tournament

No need to mothball your golf equipment in December! Yes, there are still courses that are playable even in mild winter temperatures - even in our latitudes. And on summer greens! Let us take you to the Bavarian golf and thermal spa region, where the Bad Füssing thermal spa golf club is currently offering an unbeatable deal and the Ortner's Lindenhof thermal spa hotel is putting together a feel-good package.

To Lower Bavaria for cures & golf
When we talk about the Bavarian Golf & Spa Region, we are referring to the health resorts of Bad Füssing, Bad Birnbach and Bad Griesbach, Bad Abbach and Bad Gögging. Bad Füssing is the No. 1 health and spa resort in Europe. All year round, visitors of all ages come here to take advantage of the healing powers of the thermal water and the wide range of therapies, massages and alternative treatment methods. But that should only be mentioned in passing. What counts for us is the combination of golf and the special amenities of a hotel that offers not only the hotel's own thermal water but also a physiotherapy center and a new beauty oasis. Just "Ortner's Lindenhof" in the middle of Bad Füssing! The former "Wirt z `Füssing" dating back to 1846 has a lot to offer - whether outside in the chestnut beer garden on the Franz Ortner terrace or inside in the lovingly furnished parlors, in the wood-panelled "Alm" on the second floor directly under the gabled roof, in the wine cellar or in the Vinothek zur Weinpress. In the various buildings, which are grouped around the inner courtyard with fruit and beer garden, guests stay in high-quality, healthy materials: in the organic Linde house with the finest Swiss stone pine, in the Therme house you sleep in cherry tree rooms and suites, in the Wappen house among old wood and in the exclusive Villa Sophia you can enjoy the view of the greenery while walking on oak floors. Today, the four-star superior hotel can accommodate a total of 170 guests, most of whom are regulars. We don't want to talk about their age here, but many of them still play golf and appreciate the offer of a 25% reduction on the green fee. Especially now, when you only pay 45 euros for 18 holes anyway.

The Thermen Golf Club Bad Füssing-Kirchham, which we highly recommend, is located exactly between Bad Füssing and Kirchham, about 10 minutes from the hotel. The 18 holes are completely flat in a largely natural landscape, interrupted only by the picturesque Erlbach stream. A beautiful, not too difficult vacation course that promises a good shot. The only visual obstacles are perhaps the old trees and various young plantations, which also provide shelter for pheasants and deer. The pastel-colored clubhouse with restaurant and friendly service lives from the good cuisine and the many events that take place there. These include the well-attended tournaments. One thing you should make a note of now: The 7th Wirt z'Füssing Golfopen on July 25, 2020 or the Hofest from July 18 - 20. If you still want to make it to golf this year, you should still take part in the Perchtenlauf of the Griesbacher Brauchtumsverein, which takes place on December 30th in the hotel courtyard. We will certainly be back in the summer, as the event surrounding the tournament is not only a culinary delight, but the prizes for a good score are also a nice prize. Then we will finally explore the Donau-Inn golf region with 16 golf courses in the most beautiful Bavarian-Austrian border landscape.
