Premium for loyalty - The American Express Membership Rewards® program
When you register for a Platinum Card, participation in the Membership Rewards bonus program is also included. With the American Express loyalty program, Membership Rewards points are collected according to the turnover with the credit card. In concrete terms, this means that cardholders receive 1 Membership Rewards point for every €1 spent. Turnover is rewarded in many ways, as the points balance can be used in a variety of ways. For example, card transactions can be paid for directly online with points or points can be redeemed for vouchers from exclusive partners such as Airbnb, Amazon or H&M. Frequent flyers benefit from transferring points to programs such as Miles & More, while hotel lovers can transfer their points to programs such as Hilton Honors or Marriott Bonvoy. Flights, train tickets, cruises or rental cars can also be paid for with points. Membership Rewards points can also be used for a good cause and donated to worthy projects of your choice - we think that's great!
Anyone who signs up for the American Express Platinum Card now and makes a turnover of at least 10,000 euros within the first 6 months of receiving the card will automatically have 30,000 Membership Rewards points credited to their card account - these are currently equivalent to an Amazon voucher worth 150 euros, for example.

The insurance cover applies to both primary and additional cardholders.
