Inspired by the 800-year-old mining tradition around Ridnaun, the 4,000 m² Acqua Minera & Spa at the Plunhof in South Tyrol presents itself as a unique and multi-award-winning wellness wonderland far away from everyday life and everything you have experienced so far.
New since June 2025: the spectacular adults-only Sky Pool with a length of 25 m and panoramic views of the Stubai Alps, the spacious atrium sauna, the alpine steam bath and an additional panoramic relaxation room.
The spa facilities, which have won a "World Luxury Spa Award", are rounded off by a miners' sauna, a silver steam boiler energy bath, a bio-oven chamber, a whirlpool salt lake, a mine house with relaxation areas and several indoor and outdoor pools. There is also an extensive range of treatments.

In the course of extensive conversion and renovation work, the 4*S Plunhof was also extended by 28 rooms and suites, all of which have private outdoor Jacuzzis. Furnished with local stone and wood from the surrounding forests, the new hideaways combine a fantastic view of the surrounding three-thousand-metre peaks with plenty of comfort and a timeless, elegant designer ambience.
But South Tyrolean hospitality is also a top priority at the 4*S Plunhof. The traditional hotel at 1,340 meters above sea level is now in its fourth generation of ownership by the Volgger family - it is currently run by mother Paula, her eight children and the first grandchildren. No wonder the 4*S Plunhof is also known and loved as the "home of the generations"!
