Opening of the Desa Potato Head, Bali is imminent

The latest extension of Desa Potato Head, designed in collaboration with David Gianotten of OMA (the Dutch firm founded by Rem Koolhaas), will open its doors on July 15. What awaits us is more than just a luxurious place away from home. Desa Potato Head, Bali is a new home under the most luxurious conditions - and unimagined possibilities! The new Potato Head Studios see themselves as a creative center in paradise, designed to take hospitality to a new level. True to the motto: those who come, want to stay.

Almost 10 years in the making, Desa Potato Head, Bali presents itself as the crown jewel of Desa, which means village in Indonesian. Guests can choose between two options, the second of which we would undoubtedly prefer: Either you check in as a guest, stay for a short while, enjoy the view and before you know it, your vacation is already over. Or you can come - and stay.

The idea behind the residencies is to immerse people in a new world - to offer them long-term, all-inclusive access to the beach, co-working spaces and inspiring people and to create a place that encourages both work and relaxation in one of the most beautiful places on earth.

Since last year at the latest, remote work has been taken to a whole new level. Now is the time to create the best conditions for it. Home office in Bali, for example. Since the introduction of business travel visas in Indonesia, which allow overseas visitors to stay for 6 months, nothing stands in the way of working from paradise - from as little as £1,700 per month.

Of course, the health and safety of all visitors to Desa has also been considered. There is a doctor on call 24/7, PCR tests can be carried out in-house and brand new hygiene and sanitation protocols, developed in line with the latest WHO recommendations, are in place for staff and guests alike.
