Corsica

Corsica (Corsican Corsica, French Corse [kɔʁs]) is an island in the Mediterranean, consisting largely of high mountains, and politically a territorial entity of France with special status. The fourth largest Mediterranean island after Sicily, Sardinia and Cyprus, it lies to the west of Italy at the level of Abruzzo, to the north of Sardinia and to the south-east of mainland France.
