Delano to reopen in Miami

Ready for a Whiteout?

Originally conceived in 1947 , the Delano Hotel in Miami Beach went down in history as a landmark that reshaped the concept of luxury stays in 1995. Owned by Ian Schrager and designed by Philippe Starck, it was an all-white dream with antique soaking tubs in its wellness area. Acquired by Ennismore in 2020 through a purchase of a stake in the SBE Entertainment Group and slated to open in March 2026, Delano Miami Beach has been restored to its former glory by Elastic Architects in collaboration with the Ennishouse team. While retaining many of its features such as the large, white billowing curtain in the lobby, the hotel is informed by soft minimalism and the interplay of light and dark. It includes four distinctive restaurant and bar concepts such as the reimagined Rose Bar, curated retail and event rooms, and a state-of-the-art wellness space and spa.
