Around 100 years ago, the Park Hyatt Vienna, Vienna's first classically clad reinforced concrete building, was erected on one of the most historically significant squares in Vienna's city center - Am Hof. Known and famous for its impressive cashier's hall and the management floor, the bank building last served as the headquarters of Bank Austria UniCredit. Renovation work began in the summer of 2008 and since 2014 the Park Hyatt Vienna has represented the most beautiful facets of Vienna. Exclusive elegance, luxurious lifestyle, elegant class and more. The offices of the former bank building have been transformed into 146 luxurious and spacious rooms including 43 suites, which are among the largest in the city at 35 m2 to 820 m2 . The superior interior design of the hotel comes from the highly decorated FG Stijl studio and is expressed in the elegant marble and onyx bathrooms, for example. Each room also has a mother-of-pearl ornament on the floor and opulent wall brooches by Neue Wiener Werkstätten adorn the walls.
In four authentic, stylishly furnished restaurants, lounges and bars, the Park Hyatt Vienna covers the entire spectrum of excellent cuisine. For example, the restaurant "The Bank Brasserie & Bar", integrated into the historic cashier's hall of the former bank building, offers a true experience for the palate and the senses in a unique atmosphere. The open show kitchen allows guests to look closely over the chef's shoulder as he prepares his menus using fresh produce from local farms. Culinary highlights include the reinterpretation of the "Fork Breakfast" on Sundays with traditional and hearty dishes from the grill and barbecue, as well as the "Chef's Table": Here, the chef personally cooks for a table according to the guests' preferences.
István Törzsök has been the head chef at "The Bank Brasserie & Bar" since 2019. The Hungarian-born chef has been part of the kitchen team since the restaurant's relaunch in March 2016. Since the beginning of 2022, one of the most beautiful lounges in the city has once again been available as a mixology bar, dedicated to fine spirits and exceptional cocktails.
Where gold and banknotes were once stored, today an oasis of calm invites you to relax and recharge your batteries: Housed in the former vaults, guests can immerse themselves in a sensual world of scents, aromas, music and beauty treatments in the 1000 square meter Arany Spa - always surrounded by a luxurious ambience of gold, mother-of-pearl and fine woods.
