1. indulgence above the rooftops of the city

From October 24, 2025 to February 7, 2026 the popular Chalet Züriberg will open its doors. On Zurich's most beautiful hill, guests can enjoy Swiss classics such as raclette, cheese fondue from Amstad Chäslädeli, fondue chinoise with IP-Suisse meat or the plant-based fondue from New Roots. The quiet, natural location a stone's throw from the hustle and bustle of the city makes Chalet Zürichberg a unique place for cozy evenings and atmospheric events.

New this winter: the outdoor fondue on the panoramic terrace . On selected Sundays - November 23 and 30 and December 7 and 14 - guests can feast in the open air from 12 noon to 4 pm in fine weather and let their gaze wander over the city, lake and Alps.

2. Iconic Singing Christmas Tree

The "Singing Christmas Tree" on Werdmühleplatz is one of the city's most iconic Advent attractions. Choirs perform on a tiered, tree-like stage and fill the winter air with the sounds of Christmas - a magical moment between twinkling lights and an urban festive atmosphere. With reserved seats or VIP packages, which many hotels offer, the experience is particularly convenient.

3. Christmas gardens away from the hustle and bustle

From November 20 to December 24, 2025 the Boutique Hotel Seidenhof is creating a small winter oasis right on Bahnhofstrasse in the Restaurant Enja with its Christmas garden. Between twinkling stars and a crackling fire, visitors can enjoy homemade mulled wine and hot apple punch. There are also typical Swiss specialties from the fire: raclette from the "Jumi" cheese dairy, cervelat, snake bread or marshmallows to roast yourself. Vegetarian delicacies such as fine pumpkin with herb chimichurri round off the offer. After spending time in the Christmas garden, the Enja restaurant invites you to continue the evening with purist dishes from the fire.
