Four Seasons Puglia

New resort planned in southern Italy

An exclusive seafront location, 150 rooms and suites overlooking the Adriatic Sea, direct beach access, easy accessibility and the renowned service of Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts: these are the key features of the planned Four Seasons Hotel in Puglia. As was recently announced, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, one of the world's leading luxury hotel companies from Canada, is planning a hotel in the southern Italian coastal region. It is being built in collaboration with the international real estate company Omnam Group.

Retreat by the sea

The resort will be located around forty minutes by car from popular destinations such as Ostuni, Alberobello and Monopoli. The planned property is one of the few hotels in the region with direct access to the beach. The rooms are spread across several villas, all of which face directly onto the sea. Six restaurants and bars, including a restaurant specializing in regional specialties, a seasonal pool bar with grill and a beach club make up the culinary offerings. Meeting rooms, a ballroom and outdoor event facilities complete the resort.

A state-of-the-art destination spa, fitness center, ten treatment rooms, hammam, sauna, pool and yoga studio will provide variety during your vacation. The beauties of the region located on the "heel" of the Italian boot include ancient cities with a rich history, enchanting national parks, towering mountains, pristine beaches and worthwhile excursion destinations.

Presence in Italy

"As we continue to grow as a brand, our focus is on opening hotels in the world's best destinations and in markets where we can offer an upscale luxury experience," said John Davison, President and CEO of Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. "In Puglia, we are able to combine both objectives and the project is perfect to expand our presence in Italy together with our partners at Omnam Investment Group, led by David Zisser. We look forward to setting the standard for a luxury guest experience in this beautiful region and offering new opportunities to discover more of this incredible country with Four Seasons," says the CEO.

The land was acquired at the end of 2020 and the design for the new luxury hotel by the sea was created by HKS Architects. The award-winning international design firm has already worked with Four Seasons on projects in the Bahamas, Tunis and Egypt. The award-winning team from ODA Architecture will be responsible for the interior design. A specific opening date has not yet been set.
