The location in a private bay surrounded by unspoiled nature is unique on Crete. 2020 marked the tenth anniversary of the DAIOS COVE and extensive investments were made to celebrate this anniversary. The result is a newly designed terrace around the impressive infinity pool and an additional adults-only pool. The culinary offering has also been expanded to delight even the most discerning palates: the à la carte restaurant OCEAN has been given a new lease of life and has been welcoming guests since last summer with a sensational food concept inspired by the "Ducasse Conseil". The team led by top French chef Alain Ducasse created a gourmet menu that pampers the taste buds with modern Cretan cuisine. The DAIOS COVE thus continues to focus on premium partnerships and is also continuing its collaboration with nutrition expert Sarah Safarian and the cocktail artists from THE CLUMSIES, whose bar in Athens was ranked third among the 50 best bars in the world in 2020.

The largest Greek island is blessed with sunshine from spring until well into the fall and can be reached in a maximum of three hours by plane from Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The journey from Heraklion airport to DAIOS COVE takes around 50 minutes. There are plenty of opportunities for individual excursions by land and sea. Guests can enjoy day trips by sailing boat, catamaran or a luxurious speed boat - the hotel's own rib boat.
