January: BelArosa Chalet

Time for the essentials
The new luxury 5-star hotel concept BelArosa Chalet in Arosa with its ten private chalets under one roof can look back on a successful first year - it is even celebrated as "Newcomer of the Year" in Switzerland's leading hotel ranking in BILANZ. It is all about modern, quiet luxury.

"What could be better than having time?" philosophizes host Meike-Cathérine Bambach. "This is exactly how we want you to remember your time at the BelArosa Chalet: with time for yourself, time with your loved ones and, if you wish, even with exciting impulses on the topic of "time" - now also our individual time coaching sessions with renowned time expert Anna Jelen, who also comes from Arosa."

Time with the whole family
The chalets, between 95 and 210 square meters in size, are predestined for family time, be it with the small family, across generations or the self-chosen family consisting of good friends. Four-legged family members are also very welcome and are pampered with home-made treats. There is plenty of space to retreat and lots of room for moments together: over a good meal and a fine wine from the hotel's own wine cellar, in front of the crackling open fire, in the private sauna or with a dip in the private infinity pool.

Architectural masterpiece and sustainable building
The BelArosa Chalet impresses with architectural highlights such as the five sky pools, which fill with 36-degree water at the touch of a button, and the facades made of 200-year-old, hand-chopped, sunburnt beams, formwork and corner joints made of spruce and larch. These old materials are not only sustainable but, in combination with steel, ensure a high snow load-bearing capacity and remain true to the Grisons building tradition.
From the outside, the BelArosa Chalet is a real eye-catcher and reflects numerous elements of Graubünden's traditional building style: the base level is made of solid stone, the building structure is clad vertically with wood, and the top floor is particularly emphasized by a change in the direction of the formwork, with the rear sides facing the slope being traditionally plastered. However, the entrance gate, through which you can see a beautiful inner courtyard with a fireplace and antique cobblestones, is reserved for guests. Privacy is a top priority at BelArosa Chalet.

Tailor-made indulgence
The same applies to the cuisine at the BelArosa Chalet. Everything is tailor-made. This starts with an individually composed breakfast - this is discreetly prepared by the brownies behind the scenes at the desired time in your own chalet. For dinner, there is the option of in-room dining. Fine classics and regional specialties are served in the chalet. Alternatively, a private chef service is also available. Or you can order one of the lovingly stocked food hamper and prepare delicacies from the region yourself in the fully equipped kitchen.
