Once a storage facility for silk and fabrics for the East India Company, it is now a stylish retreat with 75 rooms, custom-made furniture, a Mediterranean color palette and modern design elements. Ennismore's in-house studio and designer Samuel Wright combine industrial roots with utopian design philosophy. Highlights such as curved terracotta staircases, light-flooded lounges and art by emerging London talent create an atmosphere between past and modern.
