Action at Le Grand Bellevue

Full moon spa nights & James Bond feeling in luxury class

Total relaxation or an adrenaline rush: everything is possible at Le Grand Bellevue this summer season. The five-star hotel not only interprets the hotel industry as fresh as the mountain air, but also rethinks wellness and spa. Whether it's yoga on a sun-drenched Alpine meadow, exciting tandem paragliding or sustainable hair care under a full moon - guests can discover completely new sides to themselves with creative experts.

Wellness has a name

Le Grand Spa. With 17 different facilities in the thermal oasis, from the recently opened hay sauna, water pools and steam baths to the ice fountain, Hotel Le Grand Bellevue in Gstaad offers everything even the most experienced spa visitor could wish for. The holistic experience is framed by the regional, healthy dishes prepared by chef Marcus G. Lindner. He invites guests into his kitchen in the afternoon to create a tailor-made menu for the evening. In doing so, he takes into account individual needs and wishes with regard to improving well-being and adapts the ingredients accordingly. He also provides guests with practical knowledge for healthy eating at home.

The perfect appointment for a new hairstyle

On the days of the full moon (July 16, August 15, September 14), guests at Le Grand Spa receive special pampering. It is said that haircuts and hair care produce better results during the full moon. Hair is said to grow back stronger and active ingredients are better absorbed. That's why the cosmetics team will be on hand with Shu Uemura treatments and refreshments. On July 15/16, the Swiss brand Cellcosmet will also be inviting visitors to discover its products during a personal skin diagnosis and facial treatments.

Private helicopter or traditional cheese-making

After complete relaxation, the mountains beckon with balancing activities. On the idyllic Arnensee lake, you can paddle on a stand-up board and practise yoga. It's time to take a deep breath as you greet the sun and stretch your nose up into the blue sky. Le Grand Bellevue also offers an unforgettable yoga or Pilates lesson in the hotel's own studio or garden. The ultimate experience is probably Qi-Heli Yoga (or heli-hiking), where participants are dropped off in a helicopter after a breathtaking Alpine flight in the countryside. Classic hikers, on the other hand, head for Alp Turnels to take part in cheese-making or enjoy an open-air whey bath.

From flying over Alpine peaks to the Glacier 3000 trail

The action weekend par excellence (3 nights) awaits guests from June. They are picked up from the train station in Roger Moore's Classic Car Bentley and practice mindfulness the next morning during a mountain peak meditation. With this focus, tandem paragliding over the Saanen mountains is even more memorable - as a once-in-a-lifetime experience or the kick-off to a new hobby. A marked glacier trail, the route of the annual Glacier 3000 race, is just as much a part of the program as a descent on grass skis or the Alpine Coaster summer bobsleigh. Experienced instructors are on hand for all activities so that you can concentrate fully on the spectacular scenery.
