VistaJet: Cooperation more important than ever
Successful partnerships as a way out of the crisis
In a world where travel has become much more complicated due to Covid-19, guests want safe and reliable service at every stage of their journey. Cooperation between the individual players enables smooth processes for the customer on the one hand and additional revenue for the companies on the other. According to a recent study by private aviation provider VistaJet, conducted in cooperation with high-net-worth insight consultant Barton, 86.5% of companies already rely on partnerships with other top players in the industry. 70% want to enter into even more and new partnerships within the next 12 months.
Private World as a flagship program
When hotels, tour operators, yachts, chauffeur and concierge services work together, the result is a tailor-made travel experience for the customer. "As consumers continue to be burdened with complicated travel restrictions, they are looking for simple solutions that they know are safe and reliable. Collaboration between the best players in the local mobility and hospitality industry not only provides peace of mind, but also the high-quality service and impeccable standards our customers expect," explains Thomas Flohr, Founder & Chairman of VistaJet.
Private World, VistaJet's own partnership program, for example, uses its relationships to make the entire trip enjoyable, from flight arrangements to the flight and accommodation. Preferred services, from yachts and hotels to private islands and retreats, are waiting for you at your destination. Not only VistaJet, but more than 60% of the companies surveyed stated that they had already introduced new offers, products or services. Increasingly in focus: digital services and personalized concierge offerings.
Way out of the crisis
Strategic industry partnerships like these could be a way to minimize the impact of the pandemic. These were considerable. In 2020, 77.8% of companies in the luxury travel and hospitality market saw their net revenue fall by at least 60% compared to the previous year. 43% suffered a decline of over 90%. Collaborative partnerships outside their own core business open up prospects. "While the impact of COVID-19 on a number of luxury travel, hospitality and leisure companies has been significant, it is clear that business aviation is leading this entire sector with a V-shaped recovery. Therefore, we are increasing the number of partnerships to accelerate the entire industry's path to recovery," says Flohr.
Innovation and forward thinking have always been part of VistaJet's business philosophy. Founded in 2004, the pioneer of global business aviation gives customers access to an entire fleet, but only pays for the hours they fly. With their tailor-made subscription, travelers can use the medium and long-haul jets anytime and anywhere. The fleet comprises over 70 jets and has flown companies, governments and private customers to 187 countries around the world.
