Three luxury pearls on Rovinj
The flagship of the hotel group is the Grand Park Hotel Rovinj. It is the town's landmark and is located directly opposite the town center. The six-storey building, which almost blends into its surroundings with its cascading structure, has 209 rooms and suites. The minimalist yet luxurious ambience was designed by Milan studio Piero Lissoni. Large windows fill the rooms with plenty of light and provide a magnificent view. Special extra: a travel diary is available for every guest, and an instant camera can also be borrowed from reception. The highlight is the Albaro Wellness&Spa. With an area of 3,800 m², it is the largest center of its kind in Istria. It extends over two floors, with outdoor and indoor pools, saunas, steam baths and a shower paradise. There is also a variety of soothing spa treatments using therapeutic seaweed, pressed olives and hand-picked local herbs. There are 7 different restaurants and bars to choose from, including the Cap Aureo Signature Restaurant or the Agli Amici, where chef Emanuele Scarello conjures up Michelin-starred cuisine.
The Monte Mulini is a little more private. Nestled in the hills of the Golden Cape, it offers exclusively adult guests a luxurious home away from home. In the 112 rooms and suites, bespoke furniture, sensual fabrics and Croatian artwork create an ambience of warm luxury with views of the forest park or the sparkling waters of Lone Bay. The Art Wellness Spa is an oasis of wellbeing. The Mediterranean ambience with stylized rocks with Swarovski crystal "water drops" and natural stone invites you to switch off and pause for a moment. The Lone Bay beach is also a natural extension of the Hotel Monte Mulini's spacious outdoor areas and offers a picturesque place to relax and sunbathe. Gourmets will not only get their money's worth in the Mediterraneo restaurant, which combines the best of Mediterranean and Croatian cuisine. The small but charming Amatis restaurant invites you to a romantic dinner under the stars.
The third luxury hotel in the Maistra Collection, Hotel Lone, also has something to do with contemporary art . Located next to a centuries-old forest park in a bay and just a short walk from Rovinj, the futuristic building is a place that inspires. A unique design concept skillfully combines cultural heritage with local contemporary art, creating a perfect showcase of Croatian creativity. The 248 rooms and suites are furnished with dark fabrics and high-quality natural materials such as Slavonian oak and terrazzo and have either a sea view or a view of the Cape. In addition to an outdoor pool, the spa offers saunas and an indoor freshwater pool for deep relaxation. The restaurants and bars offer a mix of traditional Croatian and Mediterranean cuisine as well as Japanese delicacies.
