Santa Marina Resort & Villas
Almost a Mykonos myth
A few meters above is the Buddha Bar, which opened in 2015 with the first Buddha Bar Beach Club worldwide - a "place to be" on the island, where the food is also impressive. The breakfast products are also very good. However, the extras are annoying: pineapple juice instead of orange juice costs extra, as does a smoothie, the omelette (14 euros) or the berry breakfast with quinoa (16 euros). That's a different story ...
The rooms , however, are extremely comfortable and elegantly furnished, especially in the higher categories. Our suite with its large garden, pool, terrace and, last but not least, beautiful view left absolutely nothing to be desired in terms of facilities and space and also offered plenty of room for privacy. On the other hand, we found the small bottle of water per person - which was not replenished - to be a little sparse. The room service, on the other hand, acted "in time" and served dinner in the suite - it was already a bit chilly on the terrace in October - nicely. It is very pleasant that the resort manages to separate couples seeking peace and quiet from families discreetly and effectively. For example, there is a large saltwater infinity pool with daybeds and a pool bar for adults only, while the main pool with Jacuzzis is for everyone.
