Royalton CHIC

Royalton is a well-known brand in the Caribbean with resorts in Mexico, Jamaica and also in the Dominican Republic. And the hotels are always part of Marriott's Autograph Collection. In addition to the Royalton for families, there is also the Royalton CHIC in Punta Cana, an all-inclusive resort for adults only. With the motto "Party your Way", the resort specifically appeals to a younger audience that wants to have fun on vacation and at the same time appreciates certain amenities. Those looking for the latter should definitely upgrade to the Diamond Club. For example, there is a separate check-in, a separate Diamond Club Lounge, preferred location of the suites, a separate beach area with pool, butler service and premium drinks. The resort motto is taken literally, with entertainment starting at the pool in the morning and changing theme parties. In the evening, very good bands play on the open-air stage and there is dancing - however, (night-time) quiet returns relatively early, at least in the low season.

You should still take the entertainment program into account when choosing a room and ideally choose one of the quiet Ocean Front Suites, some with direct access to the beach. The furnishings of all the sufficiently large suites are modern and tasteful, and housekeeping is thorough and pleasant. In the evening, the restaurants are much quieter than during the day and serve really good, varied dishes - excellent steaks in the Hunter, for example. The sommelier table between the Asian and Italian restaurants is a particularly nice place to sit. You can choose from both menus, but you are expected to order a (paid) bottle of wine. Breakfast at Elements is also very good, with a mixture of buffet and cooking stations. If you still don't know how to spend the day afterwards, don't worry - one of the helpful entertainment team is always on hand with a nice suggestion.
