Quellenhof Luxury Resort
Designer chic by the lake
"The real thing" awaits on the loggia, from which you can dive into a generously sized, over two-meter-deep natural bathing pond. Your own lake by the lake - if that isn't "fantastico"!
The water theme runs through the entire hotel: At lofty heights, a heated rooftop pool for adults only guarantees fantastic views. In the "underworld", the Onda Spa, you can gurgle in the waterbed when you book the "Yang Centering Ritual", for example. Nevertheless, I prefer to try a treatment without the wave movement: "Up to you" means: as the guest pleases. So I tell Emanuela, who comes from the region and clearly has years of experience, my preferences in order to activate the parts of the body that are otherwise always neglected.
For couples we recommend - after all, it's not far to Verona - "Romeo and Juliet": a wellness performance in three acts. Rose oil infusion, partner massage and spumante finale included.
It would be great if the Italian lightness celebrated in the spa were to spill over into the entire hotel. Atmospherically, much of the complex seems a little (too) slick, (too) sterile and lacking in genuine warmth and soul. However, for me at least, these are actually important basic requirements for living the Dolce Vita. But all this can still be corrected: after all, the only five-star resort on the eastern shore of Lake Garda is only two years old.
