Hotel El Llorenç Parc de La Mar
A treat above the rooftops of the city
The Swede Magnus Ehrland, a former designer at Diesel who has since made a name for himself as an interior designer, is responsible for the hotel's design. Colors, unusual designs and striking combinations are his credo. Despite the often tiny rooms, Ehrland has managed to create comfort zones and offer guests a cozy temporary home in a minimal living space. Of course, the hotel also offers spacious suites. Unfortunately without turn-down service, and there are still disposable plastic utensils in the bathroom.
The underground wellness area is a fine oasis in itself. Alcoves create a tranquil ambience, there is a fitness room, a thermal pool, saunas, a hammam and aroma showers. The basement leads up to the spectacular roof terrace, a favorite spot for many Mallorcans. There you can enjoy cava and tapas by the pool with a view of the bay of Palma. All the threads come together in the Michelin-starred DINS restaurant. Wood combined with brass and velvet creates the perfect ambience for Santi Taura.
The Michelin-starred chef is a genius, his culinary concept is unusual and outstanding, as his main aim is to rediscover old Mallorcan recipes and rework them with a twist so that they are not forgotten. A culinary experience even without a hotel stay.
