The magic begins just behind the simple wooden gate. Hidden between vineyards and small forests and surrounded by olive, almond and lemon groves, Es Racó d'Artà has been carefully restored by two Mallorcans, the architect Toni Esteva and the building contractor Jaime Danus.

Not far from Artà and the Llevat Mallorquin nature reserve, a dreamlike resort with panoramic views and 34 luxurious accommodations was created on 220 hectares of land. The indescribably beautiful natural surroundings not only define the architecture, but also the interior. A traditional country estate on the outside, the interior design surprises and impresses with its simplicity, spirituality and tranquillity.
Here, discreet Mallorcan and Moroccan design meets handmade furniture and traditional brickwork. The reception, lounge with old oil mill, former kitchen and wine cellar have been decorated with wooden furniture, hand-knotted wool carpets and linen cushions. Rooms with a roof terrace are located on the upper floor. Further casitas of different categories, all with tasteful bathrooms, plastic-free natural products and their own pool, are spread across the property.
In the restaurant, which is decorated in warm natural tones, large glass fronts and linen-covered wall panels ensure good acoustics and, together with rough, long wooden tables and woven straw lamps, create a visual eye-catcher. Opening the floor-to-ceiling sliding windows extends the area outwards. On balmy summer evenings, delicious home-grown dishes are served under fragrant pine trees.
The sacred-looking wellness area with hammam, indoor pool, jacuzzi, meditation room, a yoga platform and several treatment rooms continues outside and ends in the infinity pool with a view of the castle and the Puig de Sant Salvador. When the splashing of the fountain and the soft croaking of the little pond frogs begins in the evening, harmony at the highest level is the order of the day.
