CuisinArt Golf Resort & Spa, Anguilla
From the 18th hole directly to the beach
In addition to the fine, white sandy beach, the 18-hole golf course is another real highlight of the hotel. Especially as hotel guests receive a very decent discount on the Greg Norman-designed championship course with sea views from most greens: the green fee costs 100 instead of 295 US dollars.
The clubhouse is also home to the Mediterranean restaurant Santorin , whose terrace and staff we had exclusively for ourselves during our dinner.
Sunday brunch, however, is busier. The Santorin is one of three hotel restaurants, which also include the Japanese Tokio Bay on the roof of the spacious spa and the main restaurant Mosaic - breakfast and lunch there are very good. You can also have a nice lunch at the Beach Bar Azure - we had first-class tuna on avocado salad with seaweed and fish & chips there.
If the umbrellas on the beach remain closed when there is too much wind, -- we recommend moving from the beach lounger to a cabana. However, this will then be added to your room bill at 300 US dollars per day. Another 250 US dollars will be charged at the pool. In return, the service should be a little quicker.
