Cap Rocat, Cala Blava
A fortress of good taste
The Suite del Mar has a small garden on a plateau almost directly on the beach. This is also the location of one of the hotel's highlights: the Sea Club, which is much loved by Mallorcans and tourists alike and serves excellent Mediterranean cuisine.
Two bays can be seen from the restaurant at a dizzying depth. A small ladder leads from the rock at the top directly into the waters below. Otherwise, the infinity pool located on a hill also makes for relaxing hours. At sunset, Mallorcan cocktails are served at the bar, followed by an upscale dinner in the Fortaleza dining room with small, fine separées under the high vaulted ceiling and behind dark velvet curtains. The fabulous menu beats all records. Chef Victor Garcia's creations are exceptional and exquisite. The sparse breakfast, on the other hand, needs more love and a more tasteful presentation.
The hotel's dark cave spa is both beguiling and enchanting. In an oriental ambience, you can enjoy the play of light and shadow cast by skylights on the 25-metre-long indoor pool. Whether indoors or outdoors, magical moments like this are typical of this exclusive refuge of good taste in one of the most spectacular locations Mallorca has to offer.
