Xinjiang
Xinjiang Province is located in the central part of the Eurasian continent and has a unique landscape called "three mountains surround two basins". The Tianshan Mountains, in the center, divides Xinjiang into two completely different parts, namely North and South Xinjiang. North Xinjiang stands for mountains and meadows and South Xinjiang for the Gobi Desert and Takla Makan. Urumqi, the capital of Xinjiang, has many beautiful landscapes, such as Red Hill and the southern pastures, as well as featured cultural relics such as Tartar Mosque and Qinghai Mosque. Urumqi is also an important city along the world-famous Silk Road - the historically important international trade route between China and the Mediterranean.
