Botswana vacation - pure adventure
The continent of Africa is known for its many contrasts. One country where these are particularly pronounced is Botswana, located in the southern part of Africa. The climatic conditions within the country are very different and so is the vegetation. For example, numerous animal and plant species can be found in the famous Okavango Delta. However, these animals and plants can only survive in this narrow strip of land, because just a few kilometers away from the Okavango Delta is the Kalahari Desert, which is home only to special survivors. These contrasts make Botswana a particularly exciting country for tourism. Travel to Botswana promises variety and adventure.

African cuisine - food in Botswana
African cuisine combines traditional fruits and vegetables, as well as exotic game and fish from the seas with a marinade shaped by cultures, colonies, trade routes and a unique history. Africa is a continent that stretches from arid desert to subtropical wetlands, plains and jungle
African cuisine is becoming increasingly popular, especially among immigrants. However, the different dishes in Africa vary greatly from region to region. Above all, the areas heavily influenced by the British and French, such as Johannesburg, have a completely different cuisine to offer than those regions in Kenya. It is impossible to name the cuisine of each continent after the other. Nevertheless, all regions of Africa are part of African cuisine.

Botswana Safaris - Two fascinating contrasts

The African country of Botswana is often referred to as the model country of Africa, as it has a free and democratic basic order and a legitimate government.
and a legitimized government
government. Botswana is therefore one of the most popular vacation destinations in the southern part of Africa. Botswana is located between Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe and South Africa and is characterized by two fascinating contrasts. On the one hand, it has a very high proportion of desert (80% of the country consists of the Kalahari Desert) and on the other, the huge Okavango Basin, which provides a special habitat for hundreds of animal and plant species. Especially during the rainy season, this area of Botswana is ideal for exclusive and unforgettable safaris where you can marvel at and experience the unique flora and fauna.

Botswana attractions - wildlife and nature parks
Wildlife is Botswana's biggest attraction. Wildlife parks make up almost a fifth of the country and are home to lions, cheetahs, crocodiles, hippos, elephants, antelopes, wild dogs, and hundreds of bird species. Among the most impressive and popular destinations in the southern part of Africa is the Okavango Delta, where the Okavango River widens. Near Chobe National Park is a large population of elephants and there are also many of Africa's well-known animal species, such as zebras and lions, to be observed. The desolate salt pans of Makgadikgadi Pans National Park attract a large number and variety of birds all year round. Other large game parks include Nxai Pan National Park, Mokolodi Nature Reserve and Gemsbok National Park.
