Chiang Mai trip - The "Rose of the North"
Chiang Mai is located in the north of Thailand and is affectionately called the "Rose of the North" by the locals. However, the region has rightly earned its name, as it is not for nothing that numerous Europeans, Americans and Australians come to this area every year. The region lies in a 600 m high valley and is surrounded by impressive mountain ranges up to 2,500 m high.

The biggest problem for visitors traveling to Chiang Mai is the vast array of monuments, temples and complexes. Many travelers don't know what to see in their limited time. There are over 200 different temples to admire, but don't forget to take in the breathtaking scenery and surroundings. The Doi Inthanon National Park impresses with its breathtaking scenery, waterfalls, hot springs and much more.
