The hotel has stood proudly and serenely on the shores of Lake Zurich for over a hundred years. Since 2020, thanks to star architect Philippe Starck, it has been shining in new splendor – and with a lively mix of designs. In the 40 rooms and suites, light colors, solid brick walls, and fine rattan create a warm ambience. The living units are designed like ship cabins, with nautical charts and postcards featuring sailing ships inspiring guests to spend a day at the lake. The fitness room with first-class equipment also inspires body and mind: red wood, mirrors, and blown glass create a sophisticated atmosphere. The gastronomy focuses on contemporary and elegant cuisine in two exceptional restaurants: the Eden Kitchen & Bar with an open show kitchen and the Peruvian-Japanese La Muña with an open-air rooftop and 360° panoramic view.
