Anantara Palais Hansen Vienna Hotel

The Anantara Palais Hansen Vienna Hotel in the historic heart of the Danube metropolis combines great history with contemporary design, modern architecture and a luxurious ambience.

Urban luxury in the heart of Vienna

The traditional Palais am Schottenring shines in new splendor after extensive renovation: With its reopening at the beginning of April, the Anantara Palais Hansen Vienna Hotel presents itself as the city's first urban luxury resort. Behind the magnificent façade from 1873, designed by star architect Theophil Edvard von Hansen, the hotel combines neo-Renaissance charm with contemporary design and international flair.

Elegance with history

The 152 rooms and suites combine historical elements with modern elegance. A highlight is the 270 square meter presidential suite - the largest in the city - with a private bar, its own piano and the option of adding three more bedrooms.

Enjoyment the Viennese way

The hotel sets new culinary standards: in the Michelin-starred Edvard restaurant, chef Paul Gamauf surprises guests with his sustainable low-waste philosophy. Since March, the new Brasserie Sophie, named after the architect's wife, has complemented the offer with newly interpreted Austrian classics, from nostalgic to innovative. Monthly themed brunches round off the experience. In THEO's Lounge & Bar, creative cocktail art meets Viennese coffee house culture - a place that interprets the spirit of the city in a modern way.

Oasis of tranquillity

The 800 m² Anantara Spa is a retreat in the middle of the city. Six treatment rooms, hydropool, Finnish sauna, an exclusive women's area and a hammam-style steam bath invite you to relax. Typical of the Thai hotel brand Anantara, Asian treatments are also on the program - including the Signature Thai Herbal Massage. The spa is also the only hotel in Vienna to work with products from the Swiss luxury brand Valmont Cosmetics.

Vienna at its best

The location could hardly be better: centrally located on the Ringstrasse, just a few minutes' walk from St. Stephen's Cathedral, yet pleasantly away from the tourist hustle and bustle. The historic financial district and the charming Servitenviertel with its cafés and boutiques are right on the doorstep.
