Gmachl, the Village of Delights
It is one of the oldest hotels in the Salzburg mountain village of Gmachl, a hamlet celebrated for its culinary delights. For more than 600 years, hospitality has been a way of life here, amid idyllic nature and yet merely a stone’s throw from Salzburg.

At the Gmachl “Village of Delights,” natural materials set the tone—especially regional wood from the hotel’s own forest. In addition to the many wooden floors in public areas and guest rooms, the ceilings have been finished with acoustic wood paneling that is pleasing to both the ear and the eye.
