Hotel Tannenhof

The 5-star superior Tannenhof in St. Anton am Arlberg sets new culinary standards. The exquisite hideaway has already won several awards for this.

Situated at 1,350 m above sea level, the Hotel Tannenhof offers all the conditions for perfect relaxation and boasts a long tradition: built in 1925, it was the meeting place for the haute-volée after numerous extensions in the 1960s. It was demolished in 2011 and has risen again in splendor and glory on the sunny side of St. Anton - like the proverbial phoenix from the ashes. The noble, local Tyrolean materials that define the hotel convey warmth and comfort and form a successful combination of modern comfort, traditional ambience and perfect luxury.

Traditional ambience

3 toques from Gault&Millau, 4 forks from Falstaff and much more: culinary delights at the Hotel Tannenhof are the result of a "best of" from the kitchen, wine cellar and service - and a flair for the extraordinary. Head chef James Baron is reshuffling the culinary cards on the Arlberg - Tyrol plays an important role in his Alpine Creative Cuisine. In the kitchen, Baron stands for a team that is characterized by discipline, consistency and creativity - paired with a positive and healthy working atmosphere. The light-flooded restaurant inspires with fine wood, design-oriented accents and a real feel-good ambience. The sun terrace of the Tannenhof in the Nasserein district, below Schöngraben and Herrenwald, is one of St. Anton's top spots. The view sweeps over the entire Stanzertal valley and the Verwall group: even those who don't look beyond the edge of their plate can enjoy good views here! The Tannenhof is also revolutionary in terms of cellar technology: Paula Bosch from Baden-Württemberg is considered the best sommelier in the entire German-speaking region and has created over 400 remarkable bouteilles for the Tannenhof wine list.
