In addition to preserving the old building fabric and the ecological construction method using wood, we have paid attention to the inclusion of social and ecological aspects in all areas. We use well and rainwater for garden maintenance, swim in natural bathing ponds, have saunas and train in upcycled containers. A solar and photovoltaic system as well as geothermal and air heat provide energy and warmth with a clear conscience and our guests have five electric charging stations at their disposal." Particularly proud and unique: "With the new 50 kWp PV system, the Country Chalets Polarfuchs and the Premium Chalet Steppenfuchs including private spas and pool are energy self-sufficient," says Andreas Reinisch, also co-initiator of Austria's TRIGOS sustainability award.
