In the middle of Maria Alm against the imposing backdrop of the Steinernes Meer, the Eder Collection has come up with a new coup: Here, at the foot of the Hochkönig, a wonderfully crazy house welcomes children and adults with a new concept.
"You can also grow up at home!" is how you could describe the motto of TaNte FriDa. It is a colorful world of experience that Josef Schwaiger has conjured up from the former Hotel Alpenland, a tribute to the childhood that is in each of us.
The creatively furnished accommodation has names such as "Space", "Jungle" or "Boohoo" and is completely geared towards the needs of families with children. They are spacious feel-good rooms with comfortable sofas and wicker armchairs, play areas, separate children's sleeping areas and spacious bathrooms. In the "Waldbaden" there is plenty of space as well as a separate wellness area to really relax after a day of adventure.
And there is plenty of opportunity for adventure at TaNte FriDa: in the brand new garden world, the flying fox, tree house, suspension bridge, go-kart track, fountain and outdoor pool offer everything you need to let off steam. The play world offers 2 hours of childcare every day and a varied activity program (painting, carving, baking, gymnastics, bowling, etc.). In the 1,000 m² water world with an 80-metre adventure slide, water rats get their money's worth even on bad weather days. There are also climbing huts, a fitness room, a game room, an in-house theater with a cinema screen and, in between, retreats and quiet zones to unwind.
In the heart of the hotel, the TaNte FriDa Street Food Market offers breakfast, lunch, snacks, dinner and non-alcoholic drinks for all tastes. Of course, the adults are not forgotten when Eder beer & TaNte FriDa wine are served at Parent ́s Prime Time from 5 to 9 pm.
