Where Wellness Opens Up New Perspectives

5* Jagdhof Wellness & Sports Hotel

Since September, the 5-star Jagdhof Wellness & Sports Hotel in the Bavarian Forest has been showcasing a significantly expanded wellness area. An additional 1,200 m² of spa space, new water and sauna experiences, and spacious retreats provide even more room for relaxation. Guests now have access to a total of 7,700 m² of wellness and water facilities.

Water with a View

The new clothing-optional pool area, crafted from solid Bavarian Forest granite, is particularly impressive. In the 32 °C infinity pool, guests can relax and gaze into the distance, while the 36 °C saltwater pool offers another way to unwind; both are equipped with whirlpool benches. Those who crave the invigorating contrast between warmth and coolness will discover perfect equilibrium in the refreshing cold and ice pools. The SnowSky offers an extraordinary means of cooling off: within this chamber, real snow drifts gently from the ceiling even when outdoor temperatures climb as high as +30 °C, transforming the post-sauna moment into an experience typically reserved for winter.

Saunas in Many Forms

Five new saunas enrich the modernized sauna world. At its heart is the newly added event sauna with a panoramic front and space for up to 50 guests. Daily guided infusions make it a gathering place for anyone who enjoys an intense sauna experience.
The Aroma Steam Room, the Clay Sauna, and the “Meeresrauschen” brine sauna offer more tranquil heat experiences. In the infrared cinema, ergonomic loungers and infrared heat combine relaxation with a visual journey through the Bavarian Forest. This allows guests to choose a different form of warmth depending on their mood.



New Favorite Spots to Unwind

The expansion also encompasses sanctuaries designed for deliberate stillness. The indoor retreats Rubin Relax and Golden Flower provide generous spaces and verdant views. From the Sky Pools, a path meanders to the open-air Sky Lounge with its decorative fire, while the Sauna Lounge invites guests to linger over drinks and light snacks. A clothing-optional rooftop garden provides additional open space beneath the open sky.

Regeneration Reimagined

The Beauty Schlössl has also been modernized. In addition to newly designed cosmetic and massage rooms, the focus is now on three longevity treatments: the cold chamber for full-body cooling, the 5-Senses heat therapy with light and heat, and the Flow System for contactless full-body lymphatic drainage.

This expansion thus complements the Jagdhof’s diverse offerings. Approximately 1,400 m² of sports and fitness facilities round out the wellness world, along with upscale fusion cuisine, exquisite wines, and 105 comfortable rooms and luxurious suites. A total of 9,100 m² of wellness and sports facilities, ten pools, and eleven saunas await discovery.

With its new wellness world, Jagdhof has become even more diverse: guests may begin the day with invigorating activity, later unwind in warm water, work up a sweat during an Aufguss session, or simply discover a new favourite retreat.
