Like God on the Île-de-France

A new addition to the Abbaye des Vaux-de-Cernay, the ultra-luxurious country hotel styled by Dior Maison designer Cordelia de Castellane.

Just 45 minutes by car separate Paris from Cernay-la-Ville. And yet there is a world of difference between the hustle and bustle of the capital's boulevards and the heavenly tranquillity of the picture-book village surrounded by woods and water in the Île-de-France region. This is exactly where the Paris Society Group opened its first ultra-luxurious country hotel, the Abbaye des Vaux-de-Cernay, in fall 2023, styled by Dior Maison designer Cordelia de Castellane.

Just one year later, the resort, which is housed in a 12th century Cistercian monastery, is now being expanded : an old country estate on the property has been transformed into La Ferme des Vallées with 39 additional rooms, a casual trattoria and Betty's Bar, named after Betty de Rothschild. What does a day at the gates of the capital look like? Go rowing, hike through the colorful autumn forests with the hotel llamas, attend yoga classes, shoot clay pigeons (!) or simply pamper yourself in the Tata Harper Spa ...
