Ready for the Greek islands

With the InterContinental Crete, InterContinental Hotels & Resorts has opened its first hotel on a Greek island.

Located not far from Agios Nikolaos, the property's amenities include two outdoor infinity pools overlooking Mirabello Bay and three Mediterranean-inspired restaurants under the direction of Michelin-starred chef Nikos Roussos. There is also the Aegeo Spa with traditional and unique treatments - including a Cretan massage with local olive oil, an anti-ageing face and neck massage with saffron or a cryotherapy treatment with antioxidants.

A hammam, a sauna, a steam bath, an indoor pool and a relaxation area complement the spa's four treatment rooms, two of which are set up as double rooms for couples. Accommodation is provided in 199 rooms and suites, most of which have their own pool and many of which can be interconnected.
