After an extensive, multi-year renovation , the iconic Belle Époque landmark in Lucerne reopened in September 2022 as the Mandarin Oriental Palace, Lucerne. The hotel is located directly on the shores of Lake Lucerne, just a stone's throw from the Old Town, and offers spectacular views of the Swiss Alps. 

The hotel has 136 elegant, spacious and chic guest rooms, including 45 of the largest suites in the city. Most guest rooms have private balconies or terraces. Inspired by the beauty of the surrounding Swiss landscape and enriched with Mediterranean tones, the designers have succeeded in uniquely combining the original grandeur of the hotel with contemporary elegance and typical Swiss quality and attention to detail. The Mandarin Oriental Palace, Lucerne is a culinary destination in its own right and offers four restaurants and a bar that impress with their variety and quality under the direction of Executive Chef Gilad Peled. The MOzern Bar & Brasserie, with its breathtaking lake and mountain panorama, serves refined Mediterranean dishes, culinary classics, traditional British afternoon tea and exciting cocktails at the circular bar. The adjoining Quai 10 sun terrace creates a romantic Riviera idyll. Inspired by the beauty of nature and with a focus on local, seasonal highlights, the Colonnade restaurant, which has been awarded one Michelin star and 16 points by GaultMillau Switzerland, offers modern French haute cuisine. Each individual dish is a small work of art for which only the best, mainly local products are used. An extensive wine collection rounds off the culinary experience.
The exclusive Japanese restaurant Minamo offers maximum privacy with just eight seats. Guests can look forward to traditional omakase-style cuisine. Just five months after opening, Minamo was awarded 14 points by GaultMillau Switzerland. 

Inspired by Far Eastern rituals and the lush flora of the Swiss Alps, the SPA Bellefontaine creates a tranquil and rejuvenating sanctuary. A modern wellness area offers sauna, steam bath, experience showers and a relaxation room and the state-of-the-art fitness salon with the latest equipment from Life Fitness is available 24 hours a day.

With its picturesque lakeside location the Mandarin Oriental Palace, Lucerne is the ideal venue for meetings, private celebrations and unforgettable social events. Each of the four renovated rooms is flooded with natural light and equipped with state-of-the-art technical facilities. Particularly noteworthy are the Salon Alpine, a historic jewel with original Belle Époque décor dating back to 1906, and the Edelweiss Ballroom, which offers an incomparable view of the lake and garden.
