Sindhorn Kempinski Hotel Bangkok

Luxury in the heart of the Thai metropolis

Eagerly awaited: in May 2020, the luxury hotel located in the newly developed Sindhorn Village will open just a few steps away from the green Lumphini Park. The Sindhorn Kempinski Hotel Bangkok is the second joint hotel project of Kempinski Hotels and Siam Sindhorn Company Limited in Thailand and is the new hospitality star with the highest level of comfort and refreshing design, which enters into an aesthetically rich dialog with the tropical gardens and quiet paths around the hotel. Every detail is designed for perfection and sustainable relaxation, from the soaring lobby flooded with natural daylight to the spacious, soundproof rooms and special wellness programs, all of which cater to the needs and desires of modern travelers.

"We are bringing a new perspective to traveling with a luxury lifestyle. I am particularly excited to introduce our guests to the wellness concept at the hotel, which focuses on well-being and relaxation," says Edward E. Snoeks, General Manager of Sindhorn Kempinski Hotel Bangkok and The Residences at Sindhorn Kempinski Hotel Bangkok. "Our vision from the outset was to create a forward-thinking guest journey with a refined design approach, innovative experiences and impeccable service."

With room sizes starting from 66 square meters, the largest entry-level room category in the city, the hotel's 285 rooms and suites feature authentic Thai elements. A nod to local culture and Thai daily life is depicted with the phudtan, a local floral motif; vibrant colors of Benjarong pottery add cheerful tones to the decor, while the intricate patterns of Rajabopit Temple adorn the walls. Each room has a dining table, a free-standing bathtub with separate shower and a private balcony overlooking the verdant surroundings.

Spread over 4,000 square meters and three floors of the Sindhorn Kempinski Hotel Bangkok, Sindhorn Wellness by Resense stands for optimum well-being for both business and leisure travelers. The integrated spa, wellness and fitness concept caters to a wide range of personal needs and puts the guest at the center of attention. "Guests at the Sindhorn Kempinski Hotel Bangkok can start their day with a spinning class in the virtual studio or find inner balance with Tai Chi in the hotel's green garden. Our aim is to create a very special wellness experience," says Kasha Shillington, CEO of Resense.

"We all want to live longer, look younger and feel fitter. Our range of advanced treatments and specially selected technologies will help our international and local guests achieve their goals," says Emma Darby, COO of Resense. The detox program offers everything from Dermalux facials and pressotherapy to a detox circuit and an authentic Moroccan hammam. The extensive thermal journey includes bio and salt saunas, a cold chamber, aroma steam room, Rasul mud room and a tepidarium lounge where guests can relax while gazing out over Bangkok. Next to the spa is the hotel's 25-meter-long saltwater infinity pool with the Bangkok skyline as a backdrop.
Fitness enthusiasts are spoilt for choice with two floors of dedicated workout studios including the virtual high-performance bike studio from world leader Les Mills, a high-intensity interval training (HIIT) studio with the latest CrossFit classes and a virtual workout system for personal training, yoga, dance classes and Pilates are conducted by highly qualified Resense experts, be it for getting started, maintaining an athlete's training program or reaching the next level of performance.

At Sindhorn Kempinski Hotel Bangkok, a creative culinary team is behind the four distinctive dining and bar concepts. While the airy lobby is ideal for afternoon tea or a business meeting in a relaxed atmosphere, the Flow Restaurant is located on the 9th floor, where head chef Eric Lecras focuses entirely on the world of superfoods. His plant-based cuisine uses the best and healthiest 100% certified organic products from the region. In the Flourish Restaurant with garden view, on the other hand, Thai, European, Mediterranean and vegan dishes are served in the open kitchen. The night comes to life with the amber glow of the Firefly Bar: dark wood, leather chairs and the Casa Del Habano cigar lounge spoil connoisseurs with cocktails and spirits on the picturesque open-air garden terrace.

Meetings and events are not neglected at the new hotel either: the flexible rooms are suitable for meetings and conferences from 10 to 180 people and are complemented by the lush garden area, which can be used for cocktail receptions or al fresco dinners, for example.
