Kurt Eberhard leaves Hotelplan Suisse

Kurt Eberhard, CEO of Hotelplan Suisse, is leaving Switzerland's largest tour operator, which is part of the Hotelplan Group, with immediate effect. Due to differing views on the strategic direction of Hotelplan Suisse, Thomas Stirnimann, CEO Hotelplan Group, and Kurt Eberhard have mutually agreed to go their separate ways. Kurt Eberhard is leaving the company with immediate effect. From tomorrow, Thursday, June 21, 2018, Daniel Bühlmann, CFO Hotelplan Suisse, will also take over as
also take over the operational management of Hotelplan Suisse as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and report directly to Thomas Stirnimann. "Even though Kurt Eberhard and I were unable to agree on the strategic direction of the company and we now have to go our separate ways, we would like to thank him most sincerely for the past eight years - the last four as CEO - during which he has been with us.
At the same time, I wish Daniel Bühlmann every success in his new challenge. I am convinced that, together with the Executive Board, he will continue to lead Hotelplan Suisse successfully, both strategically and structurally," says Thomas Stirnimann.
