Ca’ Pisani: Art Deco Meets Venetian History

Art - Package

Behind its unassuming façade , Ca’ Pisani conceals a surprising gem. Named after the Pisani patrician family, who had the building constructed in the late 14th century, its interior reveals a world reminiscent of Carlo Scarpa’s signature style. In the 1940s, the great architect brought his iconic design language to Venice—here it lives on in subtly structured wall surfaces and warm, earthy colors once used during the Renaissance.

For lovers of modern classics , the hotel is a veritable treasure trove: beneath centuries-old beamed ceilings, you’ll find elegant wood inlays, polished handrails, and original furniture from the Italian Art Deco era. Art Nouveau armchairs and 1930s carpets complement the historic ambiance. Many beds are restored original pieces—a testament to owner Ugo Serandrei’s passion for Italian design.
