The traditional, award-winning Hotel Bayerischer Hof, one of the leading hotels, opened new premises in the south and north wings in January this year. The Volkhardt family, who own the hotel, once again put their trust in the sensitivity and professional work of internationally renowned interior designer and art collector Axel Vervoordt. The result is 23 deluxe double rooms, five deluxe junior suites and the penthouse garden suite. Floors 4 to 7 were completely demolished and a new five-storey section of the building was constructed above the theater hall. The 8th floor was completely rebuilt. This is entirely taken up by the Penthouse Garden Suite. An elaborately landscaped terrace extends on three sides. From here you can enjoy a breathtaking view over Munich. This absolute highlight has a spacious living/dining area with fireplace, two exclusive bedrooms including bathroom and spa area with sauna, steam bath, massage and lounge area as well as cardio cross-trainer.
One of Vervoordt's-- special features is his atypical thinking: the south-facing rooms are designed with light colors, fabrics and tones, while the darker rooms facing north are furnished with darker elements. In the latter case, it should also be mentioned that the rooms become lighter towards the top, as they are characterized by more light. The Hotel Bayerischer Hof has succeeded in adding another highlight to its history and surprising its guests with ever new, luxurious additions.
