Eight suites and a maximum of 20 guests guarantee an exclusive vacation in the heart of the mountains. Each of the eight charming suites at Castel Maurn reflects the property’s long history, combining luxurious amenities with historic details. During the restoration, a multitude of beautiful frescoes depicting famous personalities were uncovered. Under the direction of host Walter Peintner and his wife Sabine, the former noble residence of Friedrich Graf von Gaderthurn was transformed into a stylish hotel, which has recently been recommended by the Michelin Guide as a special destination for a stay in South Tyrol. The Radetzky Suite, for example, is adorned with a 16th-century parlour featuring original wood paneling. Tables and lamps are design pieces from Italian manufacturers. The fixtures in the bathrooms gleam against elegant fabric wallpaper, while ceramic tiles line the walk-in showers.

Every morning, you will be treated to a personalized breakfast served in your suite. As connoisseurs themselves, the hosts also have a network of fine dining establishments that they use to recommend culinary delights to their guests through a “Dine-Around” experience throughout St. Lorenzen.
