The all-inclusive concept includes a flat-screen TV, spacious closets, adjustable air conditioning and high-speed WiFi as well as a daily refill of the minibar.

The Emerald Zanzibar Resort & Spa resembles a vacation village with its three attractive pools, various restaurants, Kids Club and sports courts. The large Eclipse Pool seems to be the Emerald guests' secret favorite, with views of Muyuni Beach and Mnemba Island from the sun loungers. Snacks or cool drinks can be ordered at the Eclipse bar, and service is at the sun lounger in no time. The garden pool, on the other hand, is a little more manageable. This is where guests meet to sunbathe and chat at the pool bar, which is directly adjacent to the pool at swimming height.

Aqua is the main restaurant. Whether for breakfast, lunch or dinner, you can help yourself to the buffet to your heart's content. The individual dishes are prepared at various cooking stations. You can look over the chefs' shoulders and look forward to tasty dishes from Mediterranean, Japanese, Italian and Chinese cuisine.

In the Carnivorous Dishes restaurant, a friendly service team serves à la carte dishes every evening. The focus here is on dishes prepared on the grill over an open fire. As soon as something has been selected from the menu, the grill masters get to work. They also make vegan hearts beat faster, because not only fish and meat end up on their grill.

The teppanyaki restaurant Le Asiatique follows a similar concept. You can watch the master prepare the dishes you order in an almost private atmosphere. On the hot iron plate, which translates as teppanyaki, the high heat creates tasty compositions of fish, meat and vegetable variations.

The third à la carte restaurant is the Beach Club Grill. At lunchtime, the ambience and cuisine transport you to a Mediterranean world. Pizza and pasta, as well as a selection of fresh fish, seafood, meat and vegetables are prepared on a stone grill. And if you fancy ice cream after breakfast, lunch or dinner, you can satisfy your craving in the hidden ice cream parlor. Seven different types of ice cream are offered daily, with a large selection of toppings to boot. And of course, this frozen treat is not just for the little ones.
