August: Relais & Châteaux Hotel Bülow Palais Dresden

Bülow Palais Dresden: The wow hotel in the heart of the city
"Best five-star hotel in Germany": The Relais & Châteaux Hotel Bülow Palais Dresden has been crowned king of the top hotels by the travel portal Trivago three times in a row! The Dresden hotel also took second place in the latest Connoisseurs Circle ranking of the best city hotels in Germany. The secret of its success is the outstanding guest satisfaction. "We like to go the extra mile for our guests," says host Ralf J. Kutzner. "As a privately run hotel, we can do that."
The imaginative interiors make the Bülow Palais unique, a gem of individual hotel culture. Silver reception desk in front of a royal blue wall, neo-baroque seating with gold-plated legs: even the lobby is a statement. The style, which is detached from the zeitgeist, is continued in the other public areas of the hotel. The genius behind the playful, opulent look of the hotel is Swiss star designer Carlo Rampazzi, a close friend of the owners. With the colorful Bülow Palais, he has created one of the most extravagant city hotels for the Bülow couple and their guests.
The exterior of the hotel, which opened in 2010, blends so sensitively into the historical context of the baroque quarter that some consider it to be a renovated architectural monument. It was the legendary Saxon Elector Augustus the Strong himself who designed the district almost 300 years ago based on the Italian model - as a royal city. Today, it is one of the most prestigious addresses in Florence on the Elbe and, with numerous owner-managed galleries and boutiques as well as romantic courtyards, a unique microcosm in Saxony for connoisseurs, collectors and gourmets.
The toque-awarded restaurant "Caroussel Nouvelle" in the Bülow Palais is one of the most renowned gourmet addresses in Saxony. Head chef Sven Vogel and his restaurant team combine the urban casualness of a bistro with the culinary finesse of classic haute cuisine. It is one of the few restaurants in Germany to serve exclusively on the famous Meissen porcelain! In short: the Bülow Palais is a must-see!
