The Sir Victor Hotel in Barcelona pays homage to the breathtaking landscape and lively atmosphere of the Catalan metropolis.

The hotel is hidden behind an undulating façade, characterized by the vibrant, multicultural city and its picturesque surroundings. With its own art collection by Antoni Muntadas and a concept store that supports local designers, the hotel stands out on the magnificent Passeig de Gràcia boulevard. The aesthetic design of the public spaces reflects the city's topography and is the result of a collaboration between the renowned design studio Baranowitz + Kronenberg and the Sir Hotels creative team. The striking building - once known as the Hotel OMM
Barcelona's first design hotel - showcases the functional design of Catalan architecture firm Capella Garcia. Elements of the unusual limestone façade are teasingly drawn back like the pages of a book, allowing sunlight to flood into the 91 rooms and suites, while cleverly preserving guests' privacy at all times. The architects Baranowitz + Kronenberg were inspired by the natural region around Barcelona. The bright and spacious lobby is reminiscent of the area's curved coastline, while MR PORTER Lounge, Bar and Restaurant reflects the earthy warmth of the Monte Sant Llorenç mountain landscape. The carefully selected details, such as the dramatic copper lattice ceiling, the fine oak parquet flooring from the region or the dark walnut furniture and the eye-catching Bocci lamps, underline Sir Victor's architectural concept.


The rooms and suites designed by the hotel's own creative team
exude the charm of Barcelona as soon as you enter. Each of the light-flooded rooms features works of art by Bernat Daviu, as well as handmade carpets by Spanish designer Nani Marquina. The sophisticated design extends the use of light and space and is enhanced by a neutral color palette, wood accents and stylish furniture by B&B Italia and Cassina. Rooms overlook either the hotel's lush interior garden or Passeig de Gràcia, considered one of the city's most picturesque streets. The suites have spacious balconies where guests can experience the vibrant energy of the Eixample district up close.


The boutique on the first floor of the hotel supports Barcelona's creative scene
and showcases a variety of independent designers and studios such as Gonzalo Cutrina, Ölend, Hey Studio, Curated By and Lydia Delgado. Sir Victor offers an avant-garde cultural program with regular live performances and events by local musicians and artists. In addition, artworks by well-known artists such as Antoni Muntadas and Alfons Borrell can be admired at the hotel. For a deeper immersion into the neighborhood, Sir Explore offers a unique series of hyperlocal experiences.

MR PORTER Restaurant, Bar and Lounge is the latest incarnation of THE ENTOURAGE GROUPS' award-winning contemporary steakhouse concept and is located in the cozy ambience of the first floor. The hotel's rooftop cocktail bar serves a delicious tapas menu of raw, marinated and grilled ingredients - the perfect culinary experience for sun worshippers. Here you can enjoy kombuchas, cocktails and kefir smoothies. The adjoining open-air lounge and pool - characterized by bold patterns and lush plants - invite guests to relax, especially on long summer evenings: why not listen to the soundtracks of local DJs with a glass of vermouth... In the colder months, the cozy library The Study offers a stylish collection of international books. It is a nod to the famous Catalan author Caterina Albert i Paradís, also known by her pen name Víctor Català - the hotel's namesake.


Shortly after opening, Sir Victor was already considered THE location for parties and events in Barcelona
as it offers a variety of multifunctional event spaces - including the so-called The Studios or a discreet private room that is only accessible through an inconspicuous door.
