Barbados has Germany in its sights
The establishment of a flight connection from Frankfurt to Bridgetown proves that the DACH region is an interesting source market for Barbados. From November 5, 2023 to April 9, 2024, Condor will fly to the country in the Lesser Antilles on Tuesdays and Sundays. This should significantly increase the proportion of German-speaking guests - only 6,610 came from Germany in 2022. The island, which is surrounded by turquoise blue waters, boasts a low crime rate and exemplary environmental policies. At 430 km2 , the country is the same size as the federal state of Bremen, so visitors can get a picture of the entire island. Harrison's Cave, an impressively huge stalactite cave that was only opened up in 1972, has had too little publicity to date. The country can also be proud of Mount Gay, the world's oldest rum distillery. There are also beautiful beaches, a rich marine fauna and a relaxed, laid-back atmosphere.
Casa Koko, Punta Mita, Mexico
The exclusive Punta Mita Estates, 35 kilometers from Puerto Vallarta, include both a St. Regis and a Four Seasons Hotel. A gem in this community is Casa Koko, a stunning private villa with nine luxurious suites that can accommodate up to 18 adults and four children. This vacation oasis is located directly on the Bahia surf break, one of the best places to surf in all of Mexico. Guests have access to the golf and tennis courts, beach clubs, restaurants and bars in the community and are pampered in-house by a concierge, villa manager and private chef. A spa area, fitness room and infinity pool are also available. Together with designer Karen Collignon, the team of architects Juan Collignon and Manolo Mestre created an ambience in which only a minimum of walls separate the inside from the outside world. The aim is for guests to experience their surroundings with all their senses as they wander barefoot over stone, wood and grass surfaces, breathing in the scent of fresh flowers.

More USA flight connections to the Caribbean
USA vacationers take note! Several airlines, some of them new, have established connections from the States to the Caribbean in recent months. So nothing stands in the way of a hop to the Antilles. Silver Airways has been flying to two very popular "Outer Islands" in the Bahamas - Eleuthera and Abaco - from Orlando since this year. Vacationers often pay as little as US$89 for one-way tickets. Fly the Whale is a brand new airline that flies to St. Thomas and St. Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands from East Hampton, Nantucket and Martha's Vinyard. JetBlue flies to almost all Caribbean islands from New York and Boston and has now added two routes from Raleigh-Durham in North Carolina and Tampa Florida to its schedule. JetBlue has also recently established a flight connection from New York to Paris after London and Amsterdam.
