Momentum in the landscape

Silversands Beach House, St. George's, Grenada

When it comes to coolness, St. Barth will soon overtake Grenada. In 2018, the Silversands Hotel opened on Grand Anse Beach, which is one of the "Leading Hotels of the World" and is committed to "intimate luxury". The Egyptian-Grenadian businessman Naguib Sawiris commissioned the Parisian team of architects from AW2, Réda Amalou and Stéphanie Ledoux, to create a contemporary, simple yet luxurious Caribbean feel in his resort. The designers focused on making the most of the bioclimatic conditions and designing the buildings to be particularly permeable to the wind. Silversands was also able to claim one superlative for itself: the longest infinity pool in the Caribbean at 100 meters. By the end of this year, Silversands Beach House will also open, 28 villas on a cliff above Portici Beach and on the beach - a refuge within the refuge. Both one-bedroom villas and two-bedroom suites will be available here. The canopies above the villas are particularly eye-catching and add a touch of vibrancy to the landscape. Absolute privacy is guaranteed here.
