New opening on Dominica

Intercontinental Dominica Cabrits Resort & Spa, Dominica

A new luxury resort opened in the emerald-colored paradise in April of this year. The Intercontinental Dominica is located in the middle of Cabrits National Park on a beautiful beach. From here, guests can hike to waterfalls or climb an extinct volcano. On their return, they relax in one of the seven cabanas with a feel-good massage specially developed in Dominica. The resort is particularly impressive with its continuous pool complex: 7 pools surround the entire hotel. Sparkling pearls rise to the surface of the water at the nearby champagne reef. Hot springs in the seabed cause this miracle. Beneath the ocean surface, it looks just like it does on land - jagged volcanic rock as far as the eye can see. The difference is that sea sponges grow on these rocks. Parrotfish, hawksbill turtles and seahorses dance around in the water in this rocky world. When a vegetable dish is served in the Kwéyòl Beach Café, you can be sure that all the ingredients come from the hotel's organic garden. Local fishermen supply the kitchen with fresh seafood every day.
