Moonsplash on Anguilla

Just in time for the start of spring, thousands of music fans on Anguilla are singing to the moon. From March 21, the "Moonsplash Festival" brings big names from the reggae scene to Rendezvous Bay near the Aurora Anguilla Resort. Musician Bankie Banx, also known as the Bob Dylan of Anguilla, started the festival 33 years ago and has invited illustrious guests to the island over the decades. This year too, music lovers can look forward to a program with good vibes. Bob Marley's band "The Wailers" and Protoje will be performing. The latter mixes reggae rhythms with hip hop beats and has already been nominated for a Grammy. The brother of Jamaican Prime Minister Andew Holness, who has made a career under the name Mighty Mystic, also inspires with his groove. He will be paying tribute to Jimmy Buffet on March 23.
