Constance Hotels & Resorts: social responsibility and sustainability

Constance Hotels & Resorts comprises a collection of seven luxury hotels in the Indian Ocean - in Mauritius, the Seychelles, the Maldives and Madagascar. The Mauritian hotel group stands for unique, authentic hotels in special locations and offers its guests luxurious comfort and a highly personalized service. Incomparable experiences and extraordinary moments make a stay in any of the hotels something special.

The Constance Group also places great emphasis on social responsibility and sustainability - the drinking water is produced in-house and bottled in glass bottles - naturally recyclable - the hotels' own kitchen gardens provide herbs, fruit and vegetables, and active marine conservation is practiced in the Maldives through coral restoration, to name but a few. The Constance Hotels & Resorts are "Green Globe" certified and have received numerous awards for their environmental protection. Each of the hotels bears an individual signature - "our passion is to make every guest's stay an emotional experience. We define the lifestyle of each Constance Hotels & Resorts through its unique location, unique design and the motivation and passion of our dedicated staff." Not least because of the high level of guest satisfaction, the staff at Constance Hotels & Resorts welcome their guests time and time again, enchanting them with their natural warmth and unmistakable hospitality.

Nature and sustainability are very important to Constance Hotels and Resorts - for example, Constance Prince Maurice wants to help increase the number of bees in Mauritius. With the active support of a local beekeeper, the hotel runs its own honey production and thus offers homemade, fresh honey - for breakfast, in cocktails and even for treatments in the spa. The goal: 250,000 honey bees in five hives, producing an average of 250 kg of honey per year.
